JCL stands for Junior Classical League. This is a program group that is focused on ancient Greek and Roman culture, language, and everyday life. This program is to help people get interested in these kinds of things.

The JCL program has many different contests to get schools involved in these sorts of things. They have conventions for Certamen, spirit (which includes the toga parade), catapults, and all sorts of celebrations. The one that most people look forward to in this school is the overnight (or in this case, two nights) convention in May. The people in Certamen try to win the Certamen competition, and the people in the Latin Club try to win a lot of different things.
